Beyond the presence of politicians and world leaders, President Donald Trump’s inauguration was also a gathering of some of the wealthiest individuals on the planet.
Tech billionaires like Elon Musk (Tesla), Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), and Jeff Bezos (Amazon)—all present at the ceremony—represent a combined wealth of over $1 trillion.
In this graphic, we highlight some of the most notable billionaires who attended President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Wealth figures are based on Forbes calculations as of January 2025.
Big Tech Representation
Five of the world’s 10 richest billionaires attended Trump’s inauguration. Leading the list was Elon Musk, a vocal Trump supporter, whose net worth soared 61% from $264 billion to $426 billion since the election.
Also in attendance were Jeff Bezos, the world’s second-richest person and founder of Amazon, and Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta (Facebook) and the third-richest individual on Forbes’ list. Apple CEO Tim Cook and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai were also present, as well as Google founder Sergey Brin.

In addition to tech executives, the founder, chairman, and CEO of LVMH, Bernard Arnault, attended the inauguration with his family. The Arnaults enjoyed prime seating just a few rows behind former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, along with their respective spouses.
Other prominent billionaires included Mukesh Ambani (chairman of Reliance Industries and India’s richest man), Miriam Adelson (casino mogul and Dallas Mavericks owner), and Rupert Murdoch (former chairman of Fox News).
