While it’s no surprise to see companies like Nvidia and Tesla in this ranking, there are some interesting companies to highlight.

One is Axon, an Arizona-based company that manufactures products for law enforcement and military. Its initial product was the Taser, but today it sells a wide range of equipment such as body-worn cameras commonly used by police officers.

Another noteworthy pick is Texas Pacific Land Corp., which is one of the largest private land owners in Texas (nearly 900,000 acres). The company earns royalties from oil and gas production on its lands, and recently joined the S&P 500 index.
