The data comes from Brand Finance’s Football 50 2024 report on the most valuable and strongest football brands.
Brand Finance defines brand value as the estimated capital value of the economic benefits generated by a brand, usually calculated as the net present value of future cash flows attributable specifically to the brand.
European Football Clubs are the Most Valuable
European football clubs playing in England’s Premier League, Spain’s La Liga, Germany’s Bundesliga, and France’s Ligue 1 were the most valuable football brands in 2024.

The team was the top revenue earner in Europe, according to UEFA, and also won their 36th La Liga championship title in the 2023-24 season.
Real Madrid is also among the most valuable sports teams in the world in 2024, and one of two football teams including Manchester City.
In general, England’s Premier League teams make up a majority of the most valuable football brands worldwide.
Second-place Manchester City also saw record-breaking revenues in the past year, and were the first English club to hold the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup titles.
