Bad Bunny stands out as the only artist with the same album topping the most-streamed list twice, and he boasts three albums that have claimed the title in different years. Drake and Ed Sheeran each have had two different albums reach the number one spot.

Bad Bunny’s record-breaking album Un Verano Sin Ti dominated the charts for two consecutive years, 2022 and 2023, and currently holds the title of Spotify’s most-streamed album of all time.

It was also the first fully Spanish album to be nominated for the Grammy Album of the Year.

Un Verano Sin Ti showcases a vibrant mix of Caribbean music styles, including bachata, reggae, and bossa nova. The album was largely recorded in the Dominican Republic and Bad Bunny’s native Puerto Rico.

Olivia Rodrigo’s “SOUR” is currently the most-streamed album on Spotify by a female artist.

Her viral debut single “drivers license” was also the most-streamed song on Spotify in 2021. The autobiographical breakup song exploded on TikTok and shot straight to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 upon release.

Rodrigo and Billie Eilish are the only female artists with top-streamed albums, with SOUR and WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, respectively. Notably, both albums were their debuts.
