Elon Musk Leads the Pack
Based in Texas, Elon Musk has an estimated net worth of $195 billion, making him the richest billionaire in the world and the wealthiest person on our map.
Second place goes to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, with $177 billion. In 2024, Zuckerberg surpassed Google co-founder Larry Page to become the wealthiest person in California.

The list also features Berkshire Hathaway’s Warren Buffett, Nike co-founder and chairman emeritus Phil Knight, and John Mars, the son of Audrey Ruth (Meyer) and Forrest Mars Sr., and grandson of Frank C. Mars, founders of the American candy company Mars, Incorporated.
Only two women are shown on our map: Miriam Adelson, the widow of Sheldon Adelson, former CEO and chairman of Las Vegas Sands, and Gail Miller, leader of the Larry H. Miller Group, which spans real estate, healthcare, finance, and entertainment sectors. No billionaires reside in Alaska.
