Terence is an associate professor of political economy at Seton Hall University, where he teaches comparative politics, statistics (with R), and game theory. He studies the factors that affect democratic and authoritarian stability and the effects of these institutions on socioeconomic outcomes. He previously taught at Brown and Rutgers University. In his spare time, Terence enjoys creating raytraced maps and data visualizations using the rayshader and rayrender packages in R.
